About
I am passionate about helping young people heal, grow, and become the people God created them to be. I believe in the potential every person has to be a light in the world, namely through a safe relationship that allows them to see their sweetness, face their darkness, and experience themselves as fully, forever loved.
My therapy approach is holistic - engaging body, mind, and spirit - and is informed by neuroscience, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As a follower of Jesus, I value the Bible as God’s eternal, inerrant written Word, and God as the ultimate source of wisdom. I would love to incorporate faith with you if you desire.
Therapy with me includes somatic (body) practices, emotion exploration, storytelling, identifying thought patterns and core beliefs, psychoeducation, practical coping, and relationship skills. I want my clients to feel safe and heard, as well as gently challenged at times.
Think of me as your millennial big sister. I’m here to listen, hold space for you, and offer guidance and insight when helpful.
What I Do in My Free Time
Out of the office, I sing on my church's worship team, enjoy writing and reading, adore fresh flowers, and love to bake (& eat) chocolate chip cookies.
